Some simple rules to help keep DayChat safe and enjoyable for everyone.
DayChat is a place for spontaneous communication and human connection, designed to exist only for the moment.
To maintain the well-being of our community, treat other users the way you would like to be treated: with respect. We trust our users, and most people in the community respect that trust.
Users are solely responsible for the content they upload or share on DayChat.
The platform is not responsible for user-generated content, but we may remove content or disable accounts if our rules or applicable laws are violated.
Below are our core rules. Please take them seriously and respect the spirit in which they were created.
DayChat is not a place for pornographic or excessively sexual content.
Images or videos depicting genitals or explicit sexual acts are not allowed. Any form of revenge porn or the non-consensual sharing of private or intimate material is strictly prohibited.
You can report incidents to us through the contact form or by reporting any content directly within the app.
We cooperate with relevant authorities to detect and report cases of child sexual abuse or exploitation (CSAE).
You can read more about our CSAE policy here:
https://www.daychat.app/csae/
If you encounter such content, please report it immediately through the app or contact us through the contact form.
Do not post or comment with violent, graphic, or disturbing content, or content that encourages others to harm themselves or others, particularly minors.
If you share graphic material in a news or documentary context, please ensure that sufficient context is provided so users can understand what the content represents.
We do not allow content or comments that promote or justify violence against individuals or groups based on characteristics such as:
race or ethnic origin
religion
disability
gender
age
nationality
veteran status
sexual orientation
Content intended to incite hatred based on these characteristics is not allowed.
Nobody likes spam.
Do not post large amounts of irrelevant, unwanted, or repetitive content or comments in order to increase visibility.
Creating multiple accounts with overlapping purposes or to evade a temporary or permanent ban on another account is not allowed.
Do not spread false or misleading information.
Misleading content, comments, or accounts may be removed depending on their severity.
To protect the safety and privacy of individuals, it is not allowed to share personally identifiable information about others.
This includes private contact details or personal social media accounts of private individuals without their consent.
Content that depicts, promotes, or supports illegal activities will not be tolerated.
Such activity may be reported to law enforcement authorities, and users responsible for it may be permanently banned from DayChat.
Do not impersonate another person, group, or brand in a way that is intended to mislead, confuse, or deceive others.
Respect originality and creativity.
Give credit where it is due.
We reserve the right to reclaim usernames on behalf of businesses or individuals that hold a legal claim or trademark for those names.
Accounts that use business brands or logos to mislead others may be permanently removed.
We have several ways of enforcing our rules, including but not limited to:
Removal of content
Temporary or permanent suspension of accounts
Removal of account privileges or restrictions on account functionality
If you encounter content or messages that violate the DayChat rules, please report them using the reporting feature.
